Why Remove Beet Skins Can You Eat The Skin Of Beets Or Remove The Skins Before Roasting?

Can you eat the skin of beets or remove the skins before roasting? - why remove beet skins

I eat beets right hot oven, but everything I read says coolly to grill with the skin, remove the skin. Can you remove the skin before cooking and eating the skin after roasting? Thank you!

Yes you can, they are like the skins of potatoes. You need to cut, but if you want to eat is their preference.

When you are finished cooking, remove the skin easily. You do not have to wait until it cools down, but very, very hot. You have to wear gloves or something to burn your fingers when you peel them. But it is much easier to peel at a later date.
